My Journey into Entrepreneurship

Turning my vision into reality.

My Early Career In Retail

Although I didn’t have a clear idea of what I wanted to do, I always knew that I wanted to do something that could change the world for the better. Being in retail for most of my career, I always excelled in my roles by developing a passion for training, self development, and creating efficient ways of delivering consistent results both in sales and operations.

Eventually, I got my first chance to prove my skills and scale a franchise for WIND Mobile as it’s General Manager. In 3 years, I opened 7 locations, becoming one of the best franchise operations in Canada.

The Opportunity of a Lifetime

After building a successful retail operation, I left retail and moved to Montreal to start a career in financial planning. However, fate intervened once again and I ran into my former boss, who proposed revolutionizing the smartphone repair industry in Canada. I jumped at the opportunity, and in May of 2015, I became the General Manager of Mobile Klinik Professional Smartphone Repair.

Within just 6 years, I helped Mobile Klinik open over 90 locations and become the largest and most trusted smartphone repair chain in Canada. Then in 2020, Telus acquired the business for $165M, turning the Mobile Klinik story into the achievement of my career.

My Calling

But while I was soaking up the success of my achievements at Mobile Klinik, COVID-19 did not provide the same experience for many business owners around me. It didn’t feel fair that I was successful while others were battling so many obstacles to growing their business. This wake-up call inspired me to leverage my experience in scaling brands and help others realize their visions.

So, I took a leap of faith and started GRND Consulting, a company that helps business owners ditch the daily grind and scale their business through purpose, passion, and process.
